Portrait in Gray - Empty Nests in the Winter Garden

Hello friends,

Even the barren Winter garden has its surprises - the subtle beauty of the empty nest - portraits in gray.

I don't like the Winter, can't wait for Spring but I do get to discover the woodland secrets of hidden nests with the dropping of the foliage.  The birds know what they are doing, these nests survive even the strongest winds high on my hill.
